Karen chaton - facebook testimonial"I ordered this saddle pack from True Grit Endurance Outfitters and received it today. Marcelle did a fabulous job making it to my specifications - smaller than usual because I want to be able to use it on my Pandora and don't need a ginormous pack.
This is the best designed and nicest quality saddle pack I think I have ever had. Lots of thought went into the details and the materials are all excellent quality. Check out some of the genius details - this is a pommel pack and I wanted to have zippered pouches for when I want to carry other items. The second outer section is held together with magnets so no more having velcro getting clogged up or coming apart. The underside has strips of webbing allowing multiple ways to put straps through to secure exactly where you need it to on any of my saddles. I usually use bungee cord that I buy by the yard at the local mill end fabric store. It is about the size of a shoelace and works great to keep things from bouncing. It's nice to get a pack that doesn't have two extra feet of webbing that is in the wrong place, lol. I'm so glad I found these packs since the zippers have all given up on my old Snugpax. I got boring black because I want it to be neutral to go with any color tack or horse. Next time I'll get a color though :)." |

MarIbel Paulson - facebook testimonial"I have blathered on about our wonderful Aussie Specialized Saddles and our True Grit saddle bags. Well Marcelle Hughes did one better. She made us NEW bags to fit the curve of the Aussie’s. Mine is the Slimline pommel pack for an Aussie (the red one). Earle’s (tan), although similar to the “TennPack”, is a custom pack made with Earle’s arthritic fingers in mind... magnets instead of clasps. Larger areas for bottle storage. The lady is a genius. She has some ready made packs ready to go as well. Please visit True Grit Endurance Outfitters at their convention “booth” at the virtual convention. Or any other time. The products are high quality. While you are at it, swing by Specialized Saddles. We are lucky to have them."
