Footman's Loops are used for securing gear to your saddle. It is not difficult to add a footman's loop to your saddle. Be sure that you choose a location that has wood or some other secure material to anchor the screw in to. We use a battery powered drill with screwdriver head and just screw them in place. If you are not sure about where you can attach a footman's loop we suggest that you contact your saddle maker for advise.
